On the morning of July 1, 2013, the College of Sciences was born. The new college brought together NC State people and programs in the biological, mathematical and physical sciences in ways that encouraged innovation and collaboration throughout our disciplines. It was the start of a decade of discovery.
Throughout the 2023-24 academic year, under the leadership of new Dean Lewis Owen, we will be celebrating 10 years of education, research and outreach accomplishments. Our values are built upon inclusivity and community, and so we invite you to join us in this celebration.
For those who have questions about these events or meeting the new dean, please contact the college’s Office of Advancement at sciences-advancement@ncsu.edu.
