Sciences IT provides a JupyterHub server that allows students and faculty to use Jupyter notebooks.
Accessing JupyterHub:
Log in to https://jhub.cos.ncsu.edu/ using your NC State Google ID and password.

Accessing JupyterHub from off campus locations:
You will need to use the NC State VPN to access JupyterHub when you are not on campus.

Why do I have to use the VPN to access JupyterHub when off campus?
Does the VPN use a lot of bandwidth?
- No, the NC State VPN consumes a negligible amount of bandwidth and you should not notice an impact to your computer’s performance.
- The NC State VPN only encrypts network communications directed at NC State servers/computers which are located on campus.
- You can use Zoom, Moodle, and other websites at the same time you are logged into the NC State VPN.
