NC State Grad Christina Koch to Get Second Chance to Make History in First All-Female Spacewalk

After the first all-female spacewalk was scrapped in March, NASA has now scheduled another attempt with astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir for Oct. 21. Koch graduated in 1997 from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham. She attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 2001, a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in electrical engineering in 2002.
