Scientists Release North Carolina Climate Change Report
WNCT
Researchers across North Carolina found 2019 to be the state’s warmest year historically. They predict that the annual total precipitation, hurricane intensity and sea levels will increase. “Governments, particularly, should take this into consideration, particularly building new infrastructure,” says MEAS Professor Kenneth Kunkel. Dr. Kathie Dello, a climatologist with the NC State Climate Office, suggests talking with friends, family, and neighbors about the climate change impact. “I think it’s really effective,” says Dello.
