Krispy Kreme Challenge

Thousands of runners raced five miles — with a quick break to scarf down a dozen doughnuts — all for the sweet cause of charitable giving. The 10th Annual Krispy Kreme challenge in February raised $200,000 for the North Carolina Children’s Hospital. The event has raised $758,000 since the first run in 2004.
