Enter the College of Sciences Student Photo Contest

Students from across the College of Sciences are invited to show off their creative talent by entering the College’s first Student Photography Contest. The deadline for entries is 5 p.m. March 7.

Entries will be accepted in several categories (see below), with the first place winners in each category receiving a $50 gift card. Winning photographs will be framed and displayed. The Sciences Council is hosting the contest.

Photo entries should be sent to sciencescouncil@gmail.com. Each entry should include the entrant’s name, major, class year, entry category, and a short description of the photo.

Categories:

Clubs/ Extracurricular: What clubs do we have? What do our clubs do?

Outreach: How do you share your passion with others?

Nature/Wildlife: Show off the fascinating organisms or elements that we work with.

Social: Work hard, play hard; our students get their work done, but we also have fun!

Research: What research are College of Sciences students involved in?

Classes: What exciting learning opportunities are available in the classroom?

Other: Everything else

By entering the contest, entrants grant NC State University, and those authorized by NC State, a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any educational, promotional, publicity, exhibition, archival, scholarly and all other standard University purposes. The University will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
