NC State Receives $7.4 Million to Study PFAS

NC State researchers, led by Carolyn Mattingly of Biological Sciences, received a five-year grant to study PFAS toxicity, bioaccumulation, and remediation. The $7.4 million grant, from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Superfund Research Program, will help establish a Center for Environmental and Human Health Effects of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS).
