Rob Bacchus Named Director of Development
Rob Bacchus, a veteran fundraiser with extensive experience in North Carolina, has been named a director of development in the college’s Advancement Office.
As director of development, Bacchus focuses on major gift fundraising with the college’s alumni and other constituents. He comes to NC State from UNC-Chapel Hill, where for five years he was assistant dean for development and alumni relations at The Graduate School. He has also held fundraising positions at the University of Texas, Elon University and Southwestern University. His previous industry experience includes strategy and business development roles at Convio and Dell.
“Rob is an outstanding fundraiser with a long record of success in securing major gifts,” said Tina Morrison, assistant dean for advancement. “Our alumni and friends will enjoy his positivity and enthusiasm for the college and its work.”
Bacchus received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in non-profit administration from the University of Notre Dame.
