Have you been hearing about things like “GenX,” “PFAS,” and other weird chemicals showing up in our drinking water? Do you wonder how they got there and what it might mean for our health? We’ve got you covered (even if you’ve never heard of any of it before)!
Join us on Tuesday, July 23, at 6 p.m. to hear from Scott Belcher and Detlef Knappe, two experts from NC State who can answer all (or at least a lot!) of your questions about drinking water in N.C.
Never been to Beer-Reviewed Science before? It’s kind of like a science cafe, but a lot more casual and relaxed. No graphs or PowerPoints (nothing boring!), just all kinds of experts ready to sit down, answer questions and a drink a beer or two. Plus, Transfer Co. has tons of great food and drink options to enjoy while you learn!
Free and open to everyone! (No science knowledge required!)
