We're Building a World-Class College
Support the College
There are many ways to support the college through a gift to the College of Sciences Foundation. Give now to create an extraordinary future for our students.
You can help. The Think and Do the Extraordinary campaign provides many opportunities for donors to make annual gifts or create endowments that benefit generations of NC State science students. And through the flexibility of planned giving, donors can include the college in their estate plans, an option that can offer substantial tax benefits.
Supporting an Inclusive Environment
A new Diversity Program Endowment will help the college in its efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports all students and to promote the recruitment, retention and graduation of traditionally underrepresented populations in the sciences.
The new endowment will help provide stable funding for diversity and inclusion programs and services like recruitment events for underrepresented students, career panels, student club activities, and professional development and leadership workshops.
Empowering Top Faculty
Outstanding faculty are like magnets; they attract other top faculty who, in turn, attract great students. Professorships and other endowed faculty positions help these researchers expand the scope of their world-changing activities, which often means offering exciting opportunities to students who will become the leading scientists of tomorrow.
Endowing a professorship gives a talented faculty member the financial support and creative freedom to pursue extraordinary work. Meet our professorship holders, and find out how this support enhances what they do.
Supporting the Future
Our scientists work with leading partners and use cutting-edge techniques and technologies to solve the most difficult problems and answer the deepest intellectual questions. Your support helps connect our bright scientific minds with the resources they need to find solutions to challenges that affect us all.
