Sigma Xi Symposium on Atmospheric Chemistry, Climate and Health

Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society will bring five of the top researchers on atmospheric chemistry, climate and health together on November 10. They will give presentations about how changes in the atmosphere relate to environmental and human health.

The public is welcome to this event; membership in Sigma Xi is not required. (See event website for registration fees.)

The symposium includes two events that the public may attend free of charge:

  1. A Town Hall About Climate Change
    3:30–5 p.m.
    A scientific panel will answer questions about climate change. Please register for this session on EventBrite.
  2. Screening and Scientific Critique of the Documentary Film An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power
    7–9 p.m.
    Join us as we watch the sequel to An Inconvenient Truth and hear from NC State Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences professor Walt Robinson. No registration required.
