Astronaut Christina Koch delivering a talk at NC State UniversityJoin us for a live video Q&A with NASA astronaut and NC State physics alumna Christina Koch, who is currently serving as a flight engineer aboard the International Space Station. In addition to the conversation with Koch, the program will feature moderated discussions with researchers in fields relevant to space exploration and a keynote address by NC State astrophysicist Katie Mack.

Event Schedule

  • The program begins at 9:30 a.m. with remarks from NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson, followed by Mack’s keynote address: “From the Lab to the Universe: Studying Physics to Explore the Cosmos.”
  • The video Q&A with Christina Koch will begin at 10:10 a.m.
  • After the Q&A, audience members will have the chance to participate in a moderated discussion with a panel of experts in astrophysics and engineering.
  • Following the program, check out interactive exploration stations around Talley Student Union, hosted by student organizations focused on rocketry, science, engineering and related subjects.
