BugFestEach year more than 35,000 visitors come to BugFest to experience more than 100 exhibits, crafts, games and activities. At the event, you can interact with entomologists and other scientists and learn about the fascinating world of bugs. It also features Café Insecta, where the brave can sample buggy dishes prepared by local chefs. The best part is that it’s all free!

Once again this year, NC State math assistant professor Lorena Bociu and students will be leading a “Math Doesn’t Bug Me” exhibit featuring fun, interactive math and bugs activities and games that allow visitors to interact with mathematicians and learn about mathematics applied to or motivated by biology.
